About
So...I guess this is the part when I am supposed to introduce myself. I've always been terrible at this. Uh, okay, let's go with this: Hi, I'm Evangeline, a twenty-something-year-old compulsive writer, film fanatic and wannabe ghost hunter. I have a book hoarding problem, an obsession with folklore and my dream car would be a DeLorean -- flux capacitor and plutonium included.

In school, I was the awkward, introverted girl with a stutter and a terrible haircut. But, despite these setbacks, I always excelled in my English classes, and that was because I absolutely adored (and still do adore) storytelling. My love for the art of storytelling took me to college where I studied creative writing, and then university, where I studied film production, with a specialisation in screenwriting.
I had the awesome experience of watching a short screenplay I wrote get turned into a film back in 2019, which you can check out on YouTube, if you so wish to.
I also had another short screenplay ready to go into production, but that, unfortunately, got cancelled by the coronavirus pandemic -- damn you COVID!!!
Aside from writing screenplays, I also write books, and am currently in the process of querying some literary agents with the first book of my teen supernatural series, with my heart set on traditional publishing!
Lastly, I also have my own YouTube channel where I talk about all things writing, reading and querying. I have a selection of screenwriting videos too, and a bunch of short films, which you are also more than welcome to check out!

I write screenplays, novels and poetry, and I started freelancing as a script reader and editor when I graduated from university in 2020, right as the covid pandemic hit -- impeccable timing, I know.
The only thing I love just as much as working on my own ideas is working on other people's. I never get bored of listening to other writers talk about the stories and characters they're passionate about!
